
Activation Workshop: Building Post-Purchase Upsell Journeys
In this hands-on workshop you will build an automated pre-event email journey that promotes supplementary events through a dedicated subsite.
Enhance your customer experience and drive secondary spend by offering tailored add-ons, like programmes, drinks, or parking, at the perfect moment. By connecting targeted customer data with a seamless subsite booking flow, you can automate your upsell strategy and ensure every attendee has the opportunity to enhance their visit.
Working alongside Spektrix team members and other Spektrix users, you’ll leave with a live (or ready-to-launch) automated upsell journey on Dotdigital, a simple subsite for frictionless upsell purchases, the reporting tools to track your new (or amplified) revenue streams, and ideas from fellow Spektrix users on upselling opportunities.
Pre-requisites for attending:
- Subdomains Ready: Your required subdomains must be created as outlined in the Support Centre article How to Get Started with Subsites under Existing Integration.
- User Permissions: Ensure you have access to Spektrix Link and the Website Settings interface. If you don’t have access, please flag this during sign up.
- Domain Specific Config: Complete the steps outlined under ‘Domain Specific Config’ referencing your newly set up Subsite subdomain.
- Brand Assets: Have your logo (PNG/SVG) and primary brand hex codes (e.g., #FFFFFF) ready to use.
- Images and copy for your supplementary events: use this as an opportunity to review your existing supplementary events, or be ready to set up one or two.
- Choose an event you would like to test your supplementary events with (no emails will be sent during the workshop).
Note on Registration: To ensure an interactive session with tailored support, registration is limited to 10 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration to free up a spot:
- Log into the Community and select the specific event you are registered for
- Select 'View Receipt' on the right-hand side
- In the pop-up, select 'Cancel' at the base and click 'Submit'

For the best experience, attendees should log in on a computer (vs. a mobile device), and it is recommended you use Google Chrome as it's the best browser for this experience. Other browsers will work, but elements like virtual backgrounds, and audio and camera settings can be blocked, depending on your browser and settings.
