# Activation Workshop

Leverage the data and tools you already have to re-engage with bookers who haven’t come to see you in a while!

In this workshop, we’ll build an auto tag that is looking for customers who booked last year, but haven’t booked this year. From there, we’ll use this tag to fuel a basic Dotdigital Program to send those lapsed bookers through an automated marketing workflow which will recapture that lost audience.

After the workshop, you’ll be able to refine your tag based on your organization’s unique definition of lapsed booker, and customize your program even further to make the most out of your re-engagement strategy.

To attend this workshop, you will need to have:

Access to the Admin Interface and Insights & Mailings Interface

Access to Dotdigital

Have a Dotdigital synced tag group and synced address book

3 email campaigns built to use in our Lapsed Booker Program Template

One aimed at customers who have attended in the past but not recently, and have not purchased tickets for an event in the future. You may want to include an offer.

One aimed at customers who did not open the first email and have not purchased tickets for an event in the future.

One aimed at customers who did open the first email but have still not yet purchased tickets for an event in the future.

Please note: Activation Workshops are not recorded. These are interactive, hands-on sessions for small groups, and participants may share examples from their live systems. Keeping workshops unrecorded helps create an open learning environment and encourages active participation.

Note on Registration: To ensure an interactive session with tailored support, registration is limited to 10 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Log into the Community and select the specific event you are registered for

Select 'View Receipt' on the right-hand side
