What you need

An Integrated Email Campaign: Your email content must be ready to send (it cannot also be a split test).

Access to the insights and mailings Interface in Spektrix

Dotdigital account access: You will need a login with administrative permissions. This is required for the initial one-time setup of your primary metric.

Prep

You will need to decide if you want to use clicks or opens as your primary metric.

By default this will be set to opens but you can change it by:

In Dotdigital, navigate to settings > general > account settings.

Check the use clicks as the primary metric box.

Activate

When you send a new integrated email, check the send time-optimised box:

With this box checked, your email will be sent at the predicted best time to increase engagement over the next 24 hours.

Dotdigital reviews customer engagement data on a rolling 90-days. If a customer has no engagement history yet, the campaign is sent to them straight away.

In reports, send time-optimised email campaigns will show as being sent at the time you click the Send button.
