Learn how to Segment and pull Standard Reports

To get started, you need to know which tool to use to find the data you need.
ďťż
Before you begin diving into your data, it's a great idea to build your foundation of knowledge. The  Exploring Data Learning Path  can help you reach your goals. It lays out a flow of instructor-led classes that give you hands-on experience building lists, pulling reports, and modifying reports.

Find the report you need

Ready to pull reports? Use the  Guide to Standard Reports  to find the report you need.
Simply use Ctrl + F with a key term to find related reports in the Support Centre article. You can also search the  Support Centre  for a complete reporting question and the AI overview will narrow down which reports are a good fit.

Key Standard Reports to Explore

Reports help you to answer critical questions that help you target your audience more effectively, find your next donor, and evaluate the performance of your events.
Here are a few common questions and the reports you can use to find answers:
How many tickets have been sold? Check out the  Event Sales Report  (Detailed)
There are multiple Sales reports to explore, but this one shows you a summary of sold and unsold tickets for each Event Instance. Find out how many tickets — and what percent of tonight's house — are sold, available, locked or reserved. This report also shows the total income for tickets sold and the average ticket price.
Who's coming to your next big event? Check out  the Event Instances Occupancy Report. 
This report shows you the contact details of the customers who will be coming to this event. If the instance is a reserved seating plan, it also shows where they are sitting. On the night of the event, you can also use this report to see which tickets have been scanned.
How is my current event performing compared to previous events? Check out the  Event Sales Comparison Report. 
If you've imported data from your previous system you can view historical data, or you can choose current shows to see a sales comparison.
How can I see details about last week's ticket sales? Check out the  Ticket Sales Analysis Report .
This report gives you granular information about ticket sales. You can view this information across specific events or across a period of time, including ticket sales by sales channel and user, types of tickets, and whether they were sold as part of a series or subscription.
What donations came in yesterday?  Check out: the Donations Report. 
Schedule this report to be delivered to your inbox daily to monitor new and returning donors.
Who is a potential donor for our upcoming fundraising campaign? Check out:  the Donor Giving History Report. 
  • View information about your donors' total, average, latest, and largest gifts.
  • Pair this report with a Customer List to analyze a specific group. For example, you could look at a list that identifies your biggest lifetime donors.
I have an upcoming event and need to increase ticket sales. Who should I market my event to? Check out  the Customer Behavior Analysis. 
  • View customer behavior for a particular event for insights into group size, offers used, how purchasers heard about the event, and more.
  • Want to narrow down the data included in your report to only include customers with a specific tag or a particular date range?  Build your own Criteria Set  to fit your needs.
