Welcome to the Spektrix Community - a space designed for collaboration, idea sharing, and connection across our user community.

Spektrix Community Guidelines
We want this to be a place where you feel supported, heard, and empowered.
To help foster that, we’ve set the following guidelines:
Be respectful and constructive
Our community is built on mutual respect and collaboration. Everyone here deserves to be treated with kindness and consideration.
  • Assume positive intent in every interaction
  • Critique ideas, not individuals
  • Maintain a welcoming, inclusive tone in all posts and replies

Stay relevant and professional
Our community thrives on focused, supportive conversations about Spektrix and the wider world of artistic, cultural, and entertainment experiences. If your work in the live events sector touches on audiences, donors, ticketing, or technology, it’s our mission to help you succeed - and this space is designed to help you do so.
Here’s how you can engage meaningfully:
  • Share your experiences Post about your day-to-day work with Spektrix - fundraising, ticketing, marketing, CRM strategy, leadership, and beyond
  • Ask for advice Feeling blocked? Not sure of the right approach? Put your trust in your peers - someone here has almost certainly faced the same challenge before. Together, we can create a supportive space to help everyone succeed.
  • Spark wider conversation Use our designated spaces to talk about recent events, creative campaigns, venue innovations, or shifts in audience behavior.
  • Promote thoughtfully We welcome members to share job postings, ticket giveaways, or other opportunities that could benefit your peers in the appropriate spaces. If you’re not sure where something fits, just ask a Spektrix Community Moderator. If you ever feel unsure whether something belongs here, we’re happy to help. Reach out to a Spektrix Community Moderator anytime
Respect privacy
Trust is key to a safe and useful  community - please do not share personal or organizational data without explicit permission.
  • When sharing examples, anonymize any identifying information
  • Don’t post screenshots, emails, or internal docs unless you're sure it’s appropriate to do so
  • If in doubt, check with the source or a Spektrix Community Moderator before posting
  • If you want to share something someone else said outside this online community (e.g. in a newsletter, blog, or meeting), always ask for their permission first

Embrace diversity
We are an international community made up of many roles, organization types, and regions. This means we bring a wide range of perspectives, lived experiences, and communication styles.
  • Be open to different ways of expressing ideas
  • Honor the identities and contexts of fellow members
  • Avoid assumptions or gatekeeping
  • Prioritize empathy and curiosity over correction

Politics & public policy
We understand that conversations around funding, access, policies, laws, and public support often intersect with politics. These topics are welcome - when handled with care.
  • It’s okay to discuss how policies impact your work or sector
  • Stay rooted in the realities of the cultural sector, live events, and audience relationship management
  • Remain respectful and curious
  • Avoid general political debate, party promotion, or soapboxing

No spam or unsolicited promotion
This is a space for connection, not solicitation. Please refrain from posting unsolicited sales pitches, promotional links, or third-party offerings unless directly requested or pre-approved by the Spektrix Community Moderators.
We do understand that promoting your work is a key part of being in live entertainment. That’s why we have designated spaces for:
  • Ticket giveaways or comp offers
  • Sharing upcoming shows or self-produced events
  • Highlighting tools, resources, or job openings
  • If your post doesn’t clearly fit one of these areas, check with a Spektrix Community Moderator before posting.

Report issues promptly
Help us keep the Spektrix Community safe, friendly, and useful for all.
  • If you see something that doesn’t feel right, use the report function or contact a Spektrix Community Moderator directly
  • If you disagree with someone, feel free to engage respectfully and with curiosity. But if the conversation becomes misaligned with our community guidelines, please report the post or comment rather than continuing the discussion publicly
  • Avoid public criticism; Spektrix Community Moderators are here to handle issues fairly and privately, where possible
  • Spektrix Community Moderators may edit, remove, or close posts that violate guidelines
  • Some instances will warrant immediate and permanent removal from our community while others will get a warning or coaching from a Spektrix Community Moderator.

Thank you for helping us build a kind, inclusive, and inspiring online community.
We’re so glad you’re here!
